I love those old Junkers...

:ernae:

Great, solid, easy flying birds. Safe, strong, dependable.. Slow, but smooth. :d

It was originally an FS2004 model. It ported over reasonably well to FSX but needed some tweaks to the glass textures.

At one time it was available from http://junkers-52.de./ but that website seems to be defunct now. The file name was junkers_52_V.2.exe

I have no idea where you can get it now.

You can find it at simviation and flightsim.com. When you do a search on "fischer" ate simviation you will see the FSX conversion as well.

I d/loaded it from Simviation, but have found that the canopy (looking out) seems to be covered in oil. Any suggestions how to convert to clear glass?

It's really a fun aeroplane to fly. :)

You have to change the transparency bmps and the alpha channel. I used dxtbmp for this.

Great pics and wonderful model. But after seeing them, now I'm going to have to dig out my copy of "Where Eagles Dare" and watch it again. I'll 'suffer' through it. :icon_lol:

Is that still the Oliver Fischer original? Even with the "FSX Patch?" I did a few repaints of this plane for FS9 and maybe they still work for the patched version or do I need to re-convert the textures?
