How to eliminate "jagged" lettering??

I've searched the forums but couldn't find the exact topic. Even if I scan in letters (or roundels) from decals the letters come out "jagged.

Any help or suggestions appreciated.

Reason why you cannot find the answer is because most skinners make the markings themselves, use fonts and/or templates of markings.

Scanning printed material will allways force you to make a compromise to quality. You can scan it, but only to use as a template to draw your own version of it.

We offer a lot such material at Simmers Paintshop. Unfortunately we are still waiting for the new server.
