Hi;

I have a plane with no VC, and I'd like to eliminate that view when I cycle through the different views. I know there was a way to do this with CFS2, but is there a way to eliminate views from FS2004? I'd also like to be able to do away with tower view, but that is less important - the 3D view is irritating because it just serves as a reminder that there IS NO 3D view.
Thanks!

Paul,

You can't actually eliminate the view. The closest you'll get is skipping over the view you don't want when you cycle through the views. I have in the past considered building a gauge to do this kind of thing. Let me see what I can cobble together over the weekend.

Give this a try... I'll think about the tower view thing - I'll likely have to change the approach I took here.
In the interests of being politically correct, I put elements in the gauge that will allow skipping either the VC or the 2D panel. You will note that with this gauge, you will very briefly see the view you are trying to avoid. I do mean briefly - it will only be visible for a frame or two, then the gauge will move you along to the next view.
