PS If you're left wondering why Hall & Oates.....thats what we called the A7 on the flight line! Look out her she comes, the man eater! Watch out boy she'll chew you up! Get it? hehe

Sea story time.

I was on a det from Pax River, MD, on the Kitty Hawk back in 1974. A shipmate of mine (ADJ3 Jim Lytle) was on Hangar Deck watch for our aircraft. I walked into the hangar looking for him. As I passed by one of the two A-7s we had onboard, I distinctly heard loud snoring. Jim had climbed into the intake and was fast asleep. His snoring was amplified by the intake! I woke him up before he was caught sleeping on watch..........
