Thanksgiving Day, on Discovery or History Channel...the annual Punkin Chunkin contest is being shown. This is far better than the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and is just one of the reasons the US will never be invaded by another military power...who would want to invade a nation where the citizens not only have millions of firearms...but those same people build huge air cannons and shoot punkins nearly a mile...have you seen what a punkin traveling at 300 miles per hour does to a car?!?!?!?!? Imagine being a foot soldier and seeing your brother's-in-arms being taken out by premature pumpkin pies. Totally demoralizing.

That will definitely be on my list of things to watch on Thanksgiving Day.

it was invented in delaware. it's really alot of fun to go and see. it's like a giant tailgate party, with food, beer, music, and giant orange flying spheres that go splat. what more could a man really ask for? :applause:

It might be Punkin Chuckin...I have been known to be wrong every once in a while. Or it could be Punkin Chunkin...cause when those punkins land nearly a mile from where they were fired...there's nothing left but chunks.

First one, because of it's size, would be overkill. Who's gonna carry araound a pumpkin that size? LOL

Second one, the cannon, would be great but in a smaller scale. Stealth! ;)
