Last weekend my laptop died. Its 5 years old so its no crime for sure. Sad thing is it still look great.
I have no desire to throw good money after bad.
So I have been looking at new laptops. This replacement will not be an attempt to run FSX at the fullest. I just figure if I am going go get a new one I might as well get the one that has the best CPU for FSX.
Right now the two I am looking at have either a
Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53G (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Asus+-+Laptop+with+Intel%26%23174%3B+Core%26%23153%3B2+D uo+Processor+-+Black/9556125.p?id=1218124208054&skuId=9556125)
or
Intel Core i7 720QM (1.6GHz) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834114706)
I have not settled on brand or where to purchase I am still researching those parts.
The primary function of the laptop will be work related.
