View Full Version : Now this how I remember a Cub looking like

I got to fly various cubs now and then with a friend in N California. He lived up in the Redwoods area and his Cubs were well used. The paint was peeling inside and out. The floors were dirty from muddy boots. Still they were highly maintained, but to look at them you wondered if it was a good idea to take one up for spin. Jimmy and I flew those Cubs in weather that would make a goose run and hide. Urs Burkhardt did some paints for the A2A Cub that are beyond words...incredible! Thank you Urs for some truly incredible repaints for an awesome A2A airplane.

Worth getting just to look at Urs textures, I am always learning.

I like these textures as well. He really did a wonderful job on the used look in my opinion, sometimes that look has a tendency to get overdone. I like "Joe's Fast Taxi Service". Tongue-in-cheek texture set there. :icon_lol:
