To Jan and Sectionf8 crew...thank you very much for the 86, what a fine aircraft. She sure is not Grandpa's P-51, don't take that wrong, I love the Mustang. Is there a way to tell if the speed brakes are out other than she won't go fast? On my first flight I was all lined up on final, gear and flaps down, speed about 165/170, with 365 lbs of fuel and the engine spooled down and quit. Followed the landing check list for all speeds and functions etc. Any suggestions on what I may have not done right?
Thanks again for all your help.

Happened to me too but I was able to find the right switch and restart before it was to late. You have to turn the Fuel Transfer Pump Switch on. It is number 14 in the picture on the reference chart

Bob, click the left side of the red warning placard. You have an option to display a digital readout of the gear, flaps, speedbrakes condition automatically (i.e. only when they are in use ) or not at all. Click right on the placard and a 2 page aircraft status window will show up.
You might want to read the 'f86ef_ref.htm' too.. :d
Cheers,
Jan
