*Working guns with muzzle flash and tracer bullets effects*
Well, I have looked at all the posts; maybe I missed the information? Also checked the manual. But cannot find any mention of activating this. The "I" key doesn't do it?
Any help?
Thanks.

Ya' gotta arm the guns first - then squeeze your trigger (brakes) to fire.. :mixedsmi:

So, do I need to assign a certain command, i.e. the "I" key to my joystick, or does this have to be done on the trigger in the VC?

There's a button in the V/C just above your throttle...click that to arm them..Then use whatever button you use for your brakes to fire..:jump:

There are a couple of extra things to remember. You can not arm the guns unless the gear is fully retracted, and you should also unarm them before lowering the gear in order to land otherwise an alarm buzzer will go off.

No joy. Took off, switch armed, just as instructed. Brakes are set to joystick "fire button", but nothing happening.

You fail flight school and have to be a mechanic. . .!!!

Never mind, it worked. There is a slight delay, after squeezing the trigger, before the gun effect shows.
As for failing flight school; well, never went to it. But I am proud to have been a structural mech!

There is nothing wrong be a Mechanic. I am for the airlines. There is better job security then a pilot with all the Drones coming out.

Left upper consol, you need to arm the system with the Master Armament Switch. RTFM!:banghead:

Ya gotta do everything by the book on this baby, especially when landing. Now, how would I know? Can ya say I didn't read the manual completely involving the hydraulics when lowering the landing gears. What happened? I Panthered into Roanoke Municipal this afternoon! :costumes:

Pilots, ordnance and checklists, why do you think AO's are psychotic?

Don't feel bad Caz... I read the manual and still I tried to lower the gear whilst going a bit too fast. I got 43% on the gear down readout and ended up landing on the lawn at Brisbane International. Man, I'll bet that turned some heads in the tower.:p:
My thanks to Javis and team for this outstanding model. Flying the F-86 is the 2nd greatest thrill.... landing it is the first.
