Question: DX10 prob

Hi friends flightsimmers,
Just a necessary declaration: I am not a PC wizard ... on the contrary:

due to a still not yet solved problem with my box, I'm flightsimming (FSX+Accel) on my wife PC (Vista 32 on Pentium 4 and Geforce 7600 GT)
Problem: no DX10 :isadizzy:
Question: could be the Geforce, FSX+Accel new installation on my lady PC or ....... ??

PS I've already posted my dilemma on another thread on SOH, but the kind suggestions that were given (very welcome) did not help http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon9.gif

I don't think that video card is DX10 compatible...

yeah, I don't believe the Geforce 7600 GT is a DX10 card

Only two things I can think of would be that the Graphics card isn't DXT10 compatible or that you possibly need to update the drivers.

I don't use DXT10 since I see very little advantage to it right now other than to say I'm using DXT10 and since many of my aircraft are portovers, they aren't usable in DXT10 anyway.

Hope you get it figured out tho.
