Halloween is here and I am looking for the scariest flims as nominated by you. Include a word or two about the type of horror you are thinking of. Like stark visuals versus a mind bender
One of my top five is Magic with Anthony Hopkins and Ann Margaret. It combines a slow-decent into insanity with the inherent creepiness of a really good ventriloquist, as only Anthony, good writing, and good filming can do. This would be a good mind bender as there is virtually no blood in it. I find these kind of films ten times more effective that buckets of body parts being thrown at me.

But no pictures, 'case a youngster is peering over a shoulder.:kilroy:

I always liked "The Haunting", 1963 version, with its black and white filming. The film leaves alot to your imagination, and no ghost were harmed in the making of the film.:icon_lol:
