No, not the Bolo or the Dragon, but rather some design studies done by the Fokker Factory before the outbreak of WW2 looking into the possibility of converting these aircraft for military use. Found the photos and drawings recently on a Dutch site.

Interesting indeed.. but that chin :monkies:

Now we know the Wasserflugzeug was actually done and the benzin-transport is still operating today, but Buffalo uses rubber bladders that are lower for less CofG impact

Personally, the Bolo and this one are not pretty, and we know it wasn't a good plan, but in an emergency...

The Soviet used their Lisunov Li-2 license built DC-3 as bombers.
