Hi friends
I wonder if someone can help me with following new problem:
having suffered lately a unrecoverable crash on the dedicated HD I was running FSX-Accel :isadizzy:, I cleaned and formatted a new partition on the main disk (C) exclusively for FSX and re-installed FSX and FSX Accel ......
all is well but for the DX10: I dont have anymore such choice on the parameters :pop4:!!
P.S. I'm running VISTA 32bits

Reload your vid drivers may help that....Maybe...Can't hurt to try.
Hmmm What else??? I'm thinking...
Is Acceleration regestered yet?????/

I Uninstalled FSX and Accel, then I formatted the HD and started everything again: FSX+Accel activated, but still no choice of DX10 http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/images/icons/icon9.gif
on the parameters screen !!!
Could it be that DX10 is activated by default ???
I'll try to re-install a FS9 "only" A/C to see if gets Blank textures: that would tell me I'm DX10, otherwise .........
What do you think ????

Thats very odd..
Requirements for DX10 are
Vista and Acceleration or the service packs....

Maybe a dumb suggestion, but is DX10 registered properly and the latest DX10 version installed?
What does it tell you when you type dxdiag into the start menu/run box?

Another one:
Did you look up the FSX.cfg in User\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX?
It should have an entry "D3D10=0"
If you set that to 1 it may kiss the DX10 switch awake.

It might appear thay your DX entry has gone wacko....
maybe try to overinstall DX 9 from the website and see
Seems like it lost something
