.....Would it be in any way possible to use Ivan Hsu's MDLC to change the 'distance' at which the LODs show up with multi-res aircraft??..........

Dumping the model to SCASM then hand editing then recompiling may work, but no idea how.

What is the latest version pf MDLC?
I got 0.85 but wonder if there has been a more recent release?!:confused:

I know the MDLC can be used to change the size of the ac collision area box ie crash sensitivity, but I don't think it can be used for LOD or graphics settings.

The multi-res LOD info is in the source file that generates the mdl file. I don't know if that could be edited with SCASM. I know you can change the "shine" using those methods so maybe it's possible.

I think I got it from flightsim, you need to get v 1.17 first because 1.26 is just an update. Both files together are under 400 kb so if you can't find them just PM me with your email address and I can send them to you.
