As he has announced in the last simhq interview, Oleg has begun to post in game screenshots. Also there will be more regular updates on fridays from now on. Terrain looks very WIP, lighting is excellent. They don't use openGl anymore, new engine is based on DirectX. Some hoghlights:

Looks great. Wonder what sort of computer it will take to run it with the graphics maxed out?

For me it's anyway time to buy a new PC when SOW is released next year. Oleg's new engine has full support for multicores and directX 11, thus I hope it will be easier to get good performance than to build a machine that can run FSX with max settings and high detail scenery and add on aircraft.
