I know the types of bombers used/depicted in the move, "Strategic Air Command", but what I need information on, is the cargo aircraft used?

I was watching this movie a couple weeks ago, and there is a scene where troops are being loaded for transport overseas for an exercise.

The aircraft are all recips, and quite large.

Any help? And have they been done for FS?

Thanks.

Pete

As far as I know, the aircraft in that movie are;

Bombers:
Convair B-36H Peacemaker
Boeing B-47E Stratojet

Tankers:
Boeing KC-97G Stratofreighter

Transports:
Douglas C-124 Globemaster's

Civil:
Douglas DC-3 Dakota

I think you're referring to the C-124 as the transport with the clamshell doors under the cockpit. My grandfather flew these during his time in the USAAC/USAF and went on to become the chief test pilot on the C-141 program.

On that note, does anybody have an .mp3 of the Strategic Air Command song from the movie? I've been looking everywhere for it!
