need help

hey guys, im new to sim-outhouse so hey to everyone first of all. ok now to my question...so im flyin a mission pretty far from my home base, i get my plane shot up but i can still fly but im in no condition to fight. is there any way to get back home without having to wait till all targets are destroyed?

First off, welcome to SOH!

In answer to your question, it is tricky but can be done. Get out about 7k from the combatants and circle til the enemy are all destroyed. If this occurs, you will be able to hit the "x" key and zoom home. If all of your wingmen are destroyed, put the enemy behind you and run for the hills! You might be able to escape that way. Otherwise you will have to re-engage.
