Tim, gotta say, you have brought myself & countless others so much joy with the aircraft you provide us with. Also thank you to the repainters that add to the realism and beauty of Tim's designs.

So my hat is off to you Sir! Thanks for what you have given us so far, looking forward to anything you choose to create!

A few FSX shots of recent "Peculiar Planes" that I have flown ....

Nice shots and it's interesting to note I have done repaints for three of the five aircraft shown (plus several other PPPs)!

Piglet's aircraft always see a lot of airtime here but I must admit my most flown PPP is his Meyers 200D. I just love that little bird! :applause:

However, once I finish this batch of repaints I am working on the Paris may be catching it up in terms of hours flown!

Thanks for bringing me a LOT of enjoyment Tim, both flying and splashing paint around. :ernae:

He is definately a legend. Thanks Tim for all your awesome models. The Y-Wing especially, and the Snow Speeder second.

Thanks also for helping me and directing me on gauges years ago.

Piglet is a legend of the FS world.
Thanks a lot for everything you're doing and you've done for this community. :ernae:

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Tim is not in the "one plane a month" club. His work is first class and fully payware grade. In fact, Tim's aircraft are often better than a lot of payware aircraft. I have always enjoyed flying his works of art and still do. I hope that he will continue to provide us with such excellent aircraft.

Raising a :icon29: to toast Piglet.

Thank you, Tim. I write the Freeware Frenzy column for Computer Pilot magazine, and it's to the point where it hardly seems like a Frenzy without one of Piglet's Peculiar Planes.

Just flew the SAAB J-21 and wow..nice, but why a round sound 3000rpm engine? it had a inline V-12 DB engine. Did I miss something? anyone one have a proper sound file? Thanks.

Yep.

The file library here also has a freeware DB-605 soundpack which works extremely well.

Concur 110%, Piglet's Mini-Mite continues as my FSX default airplane. Of all the planes I have in FSX, not one delivers the performance in framne rates that any of Piglet's aircraft do. And I got them all, for FSX and FS9 AFAIK.

And who else in this sane world would give us the unique one-off peculiar aircraft that Piglet has. I mean, who is going to do a J21A, a Myers 200, a Mooney M-18C, the Paris Jet, all that Sci-Fi stuff, etc. And the fun part is, you never truly know what he's going to come up with next.

Now for that SAAB J21A sound, I recommend using LawDog's DB605 sound found here at SOH: http://www.sim-outhouse.com/index.php?lloc=downloads&loc=downloads&page=downloads&FileUploadName=Lawdog2360&ammm=15&pap=3. Scroll down for the DB605 sound.

Look no further than here at SOH:

On the Paris Jet, get the fix too.

I flew both the Trucano and the Zlin last evening. Both are great airplanes, but talk about fun -- the Zlin loops and rolls and wifferdills like nobody's business.

Piglet, thanks.

Well one day I might download one of his products.......

Cheers Mr Conrad, you have deserved this thread ;)

The Storch would have to be all new-build project, and if I did it now, a certain payware dev would get all cranky-pissy on me. It's already happened on past projects, with other devs I will not name.:monkies:

If a payware developer feels that threatened by freeware, then their products probably aren't worth paying for on their merits.
