I have found a way to add damage textures to the old CFS library objects (BUILDINGS) and adjust the coding so you could see a difference when you destroy them.
I used cfs3 textures to do this.
When finished would it be legal to upload the finished project or give them away so people can add there own textures?
I know this is playing around with other peoples work, is there away to share this.

I am sure someone will answer... I mean the textures are converted and all.. not like giving away the originals.
Hmmm....

The only work I done was to adjust Microsoft's work and make them work as I think they should have.
Microsoft made a few mistakes, but what a game to play around with and play!

I'm not sure about the legalities of using the original files. Then again, PSULLYKEYS did some texture repaints for the stock CFS2 library objects, so I suppose that sets the precedent.
You'd also have to get permission from the parties from whom you borrowed in CFS3.
