"Pilot Training Manual for the B-17 Flying Fortress", which was issued to B-17 pilots during World War II and was considered to be the "textbook of the B-17". The manual begins with a brief history of the B-17, and then goes on to explain to the pilot the duties and responsibilities of each of his crew members. Following this is a series of topics dealing with the characteristics and operation of the B-17 itself and how the crew should handle various emergency
situations.

(This description is from the www site http://www.stelzriede.com/ms/html/mshwpmn1.htm which shows parts of this book)

This book is just awsome.

I've got here an actual B-17 Pilots Manual.. This manual just went for $152 on Ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/WII-Army-Air-Force-Pilot-Training-Manual-for-the-B-17_W0QQitemZ320008781434QQihZ011QQcategoryZ4717QQr dZ1QQcmdZViewItem
(This looks just like that one but mine is in better condition.. pretty much the same but mine doesn't have the drink stain on the cover)

THE BONUS: A box of 100 or so GREAT Vintage Airplane Magazines..

I've got at least 10 that feature the B-17 with wonderful centerfolds of the airplane..

These magazines are in perfect condition (Kept in archive quality magazine boxes).. These magazines are Vintage Airplane, Air Progress presents Warbirds, Warbirds Magazine, etc.. If you are intrested I can give a detailed list of the magazines and send pictures of everything.

I am a B17 buff and not really happy about selling this collection off so the price of $125 is pretty firm (The book alone just went for $150 on ebay but I don't like ebay, I'd rather trade with fellow sim buffs). Also I will FedEx it to you (There are a lot of magazines, it's heavy) for an extra $20 (I work at FedEx so I get a discount..)

Thanks! Feel free to ask any questions..
