Hi,
i posted allready the problems with the HU-16 from Alphasim here a few month ago.
This aircraft trims himself,it sinks it climbs rapidly without touching the yoke and is unflyable for me.
When i remember right, there was an update in work, but i never read something about this.
I must say that i`m very disappointed and paid for nothing.
Alphasim also was not able to help, they could not reconstruct this issue.
The only tip i got here,is to use the cfg from the Goose, but this could not be the way.
If Shane reads this, please help if you can.
I will not buy any product from Alphasim again, before this problem is solved.
I don`t have 60 Australian Dollars left for nothing.

He and I were emailing a couple weeks ago. I'll ask him to stop by. He was
on TDY somewhere and wasn't due back until next month so it may be awhile.

Shane just replied, "I am in Charleston AFB TDY with the C-17 until next Monday,
after which time I will work with him personally to resolve the problem."

Hope this helps.

If it's trimming itself, the most likely culprit is the autopilot. Try pressing 'Z' and see what happens.

I'm just trying here.

This helps a bit for a while, then it`s the same.
Another thing is,when i set the flaps and the gear, the HU16 goes down like a Stuka.
Something is wrong with this aircraft.

Have you tried completely removing it and reinstalling it?

hmmm

At least you have the certain fun associated with being the only one EVER to have that problem with any plane!! Seriously, someone may have seen it before, but I think you own it. There have been many owners of that product, and this is the first I've heard of it.

I must also say, that i think, this aircraft was thrown on the market without been ready built.
There are so many worse things with it,the most switches and levers are without any function and the waterlanding behaviour is a joke! The Throttles doesn`t show correct values, when you move them down the instruments shows you not the right point, where the throttles are really, also they are stuttering, even the prop levers---the list doesn`t end.
But the trim issue is allready the worst thing.
And the best is the price for that "thing".Therefore i also bought the Cat from Aerosoft, the difference couldn`t be bigger!
But i see, there is nothing to do,and the best will be,i forget it.
Money for nothing

Didn't you think the exterior was well done visually?

yes, that is ok,but the rest........the main things are not ok.
