Fisichella was re-signed up with Renault for next season only just a few weeks ago.

On the local news this evening (Thursday Oz Time) the teams mentioned 'wanting' Webber are (supposedly) Red Bull, McLaren and Renault.
Why would he even consider the first pair?

He'll be driving for Renault ...... :kilroy:

I've always detested Frank Williams as much as Ron Dennis but I must say he's really hit a new low.

Alex-Bloody-Wurz and Nico Rosberg?????
Wurz is a real dud and while Nico is very talented he's just too inexperienced for a lead diver in any form of open wheel racing!

The again, Williams being Williams, this pair will be paid SFA, so that is pretty consistant with 'Cur Frank's' policy regarding drivers.

According to rumours Ferrari have used the option they had on Raikkonen and signed him for five years and $160 million. And with Marlboro willing to cough up (Pun intended) the money to have both michael and Kimi driving for Ferrari next year, it could ben an interesting season.

So if Kimi goes to Ferrari, it seems most likely Webber will go to Renault to team up with Fisico. (Both drivers have Renault team boss Flavio Briatore as their personal manager.)

Now if only some other American companies would cough of that type of money for American drivers, we might've seen some earlier or an additional one....:kilroy:

Actually,
This is perfect for Frank since we all know he hates paying drivers large sums of money...
