http://www.guru3d.com/-/nvidia.jpgAgain a new driver from NVIDIA was released moments ago, it's as beta though. The drivers have some very cool new options for PhysX, and multi-monitor GPU gaming. Obviously this driver has new Far Cry 2 optimizations harboured in them as well. Also this driver includes the PhysX 8.10.13 System Software.
NVIDIA released this small driver update rel 180.43 (up from 180.42) as to fix a small issue some of you had with DX9-only compatibility issues with Far Cry 2. The driver should sort out any issues without you having to go into setting files to request resolutions for it start in.
Beta driver for GeForce 200-series, 9-series, and 8800-series desktop GPUs. We have a discussion thread open on these drives right here (22http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?p=2884908).

Alright.:applause: I didn't install the 180.42's cause of no fan control in RT or Precision tool. I got Fry Cry 2 installed and it plays rather well with 178.13's on my system and even better in dx10. I'm off to install.:running:

I read that board frequently, unfortunately it seems that there are few, if any, posts regarding performance in flight sims. What's been your experience with this driver?

These drivers corrected a few issues I was having...the biggest one was skipping when flying jet. These are much smoother on my system and they also have nice OCing program that comes with it...Mike

Guess this means I need to tidy up the desktop and install.

Don't forget after you remove the drivers boot into safe mode and use a driver cleaner to remove the left overs...Mike
