Hi all

I've allowed myself 3 add-ons this month. I have already got Aerosoft's Discus and ORBX's Tamworth.

Now here comes my delema. Aero L39 and PMDG's 41 look really inviting, but both the prices look a little high and Iris's Eagle is coming out soon.

AAhhhhh!! :isadizzy:

I'm not interested in the Cub

Any suggestions? :monkies:

from heart I would say Aero L-39 would be right decision
price is a bit high but their are so many repaints that it is absolutely worth!!

Yep, same here. I don't flying Commercial stuff at all. I have the Cub, and it's nice and all, but much too slow for my taste so that was a waste of good money (my fault) but if I could have afforded the L-39 I would have snatched that up in a heartbeat. . .he set a new standard for payware aircraft with that one, no doubt.

L39 - it's a plane you think you won't fly but you get it and its the only thing you fly haha!

delema

Wat?

My suggestion: J-41. If it's a turboprop, it's good. If it carries people, it's even better.

Both look good, but I only own the L-39...which actually got me flying once again!

I have both. Both are very good, but I'd probably go with the L-39. It's more out and out fun than the JetStream.

Ouch, L-39 vs J41. I don't think I could decide between the two. They are both outstanding.

If I absolutely had to pick one, it would be both! :monkies:

I have both the J41 and the L-39. Both were very worth the money but I think it all just depends on what you fly more. Both are great in their own right. Both are ground breaking in terms of new technology in FSX. So hard to pic but if it were me, I would go with the L-39.

The main difference between the L39 and J41 is the J41 has an autopilot

That being said, I'd still go for the L39

If you donīt have all the stuff to get FSX looking as best as possible,---terrain, sky & weather...forget planes and get the sim looking as best as possible...in the meantime download freeware models.:sleep::sleep:

LOL its the usual, "when its done!" Its now a case of getting it right instead of throwing it out the door!

Anyway my opinion for the topic is the L-39!

just bought FSaddon Tongass Fjords and I have to say it is an absolute work of love and art for FSX.

if you fly bush planes or floaters and like accurate shorelines, mountains, inlets and airfields - you need Tongass Fjords.

I am noticing no significant impact on my FPS at any location within the modified area that I have flown over so far....I did have to reduce AI air traffic and nullify the pleasure crafts but all other boxes are checked - I really like the marine navigation beacon lights and the way the shoals and shallow waters are tinted / rendered. :ernae:
