Hi Guys,
I have started a new post on this awesome little aircraft and need some help. For some reason when I click the passenger icon she shows on the window but not in the aircraft, (and yes I have the animated box ticked within FSX). I notice that her weight is not displayed either but if I click the + sign to increase the total weight increases but not her or the baggage. Any clues in what is happening. Timm

Did you purchase and install the Accusim Pack?

Hi Bud,
I got both packages, installed the main first followed by the Accusim Pack. Timm

Are all of your settings as per the manual?

Try adding some weight to her. I noticed that my pilot was missing in-flight yesterday, only to also see that the pilot weight was set to 0. Once I gave him some mass, he grew a body.

Hi Guys,
Thansk for your comments. What I have found is that if I go into the main FSX Fuel and Payload section and add some weight to the passanger section she will appear and vanish if I decrease it to zero. Same goes for the weight on the baggage I can increase via this way but can't use the +/- on the window you use to alter weight extra. Very spooky I'm off to read the manual again. Timm

You shouldn't have to add it in the main FSX payload window -- I found that just clicking the "+" under the passenger in the Cub's payload screen is sufficient. Shift-4.

You should know better than ask a woman her weight. No wonder she disappears.

If you put 200 lbs does she look like 200 lbs? If not then is this TRUE accusim? :mixedsmi:

Timm,

Go to SETTINGS / GRAPHICS and check Advanced Animations.

Hi Guys,
Thanks for all your comments. Well here is a new one, she can be put down as extra baggage as well. I noticed this just now when I was playing with the menu. her arm is sticking out from the rear very strange going on here. Timm

As Blade124 already suggested you need to have Advanced Animations tick in FSX's graphics menu.
Have you tried that yet ?

Just what I thought when I read his initial sentence, but he states at the end of his first post that the Adv_Ani box is checked.

Yes looks like advanced anims isn't ticked Hi Guys,
That was the first thing I checked and as I stated in my first post. I'm just lost in why she's showing back there. Timm

It look like Heidi's slightly out of sync.

Have you tried starting a fresh Cub flight?

In "refreshing" the flight I would delete any exisiting saved Cub flights. You may also want to load up the new flight and hit the "Cold Start" option on the "Controls" pop-up menu.

Just hitting the "Cold Start" by itself may reset Heidi.

If this doesn't do the trick then you may also want to take a look at the "Maintenance Hanger" pop-up menu to see if it's telling you that your Cub needs an Overhaul.

Hi Lewis-A2A,
I registered the other day when I noticed these problems but as yet unable to log in as I have not recieved an e-mail from A2A for comfirmation etc. I'm running FSX SP2 only not the acceleration version. Just one other small question I notice in the manual you show the pilot not visable in a couple of your shots, how and what key command removes him. Timm
