I had to completly delete my FSX the other day after a serious error, so I'm starting from scratch here and well I'm glad I had to do it, all I have on my system at the moment is WW2 aircraft and REX2 of course, Here's some pics that I personally loved Please feel free to post yours if there of WW2 aircraft!

That Bf-109E from A2A is often overlooked but truly a beauty! especially once they made her fsx compatible

September 9th, 2009, 14:27
Yeah it is truelly the best 109 for fsx, plus with a little tinkering all the fs2004 skins work once you invert and change them to .DDS!
@ Empeck, the Polish squadron pilots in my opinion were the best in the RAF during WW2 and will never be forgotten, Stanislaw Skalski in particular will always be a true hero of mine!!!

I don't know why but the emblem of JG1 the Tatzelwurm has always been a favorite of mine and is now an emblem that I use lol theres one on my windscreen in my car!

Ah.... didn´t have a chance to fly any warbirds like these in FSX last weekend, had to indeed go out and see and hear them fly for real (well, most of them) :d

Nice shots in here! (mine are in the Newshawks area :d)

:jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop: All I can say is awesome shots fellas. I love seeing me some warbirds. Not trying to high jack the thread here but those are some killer shots and we have a contest going on where the public votes on who's got the best one. The winner any product from CaptainSim free of charge. I would say enter one of them pics above here http://fsxproblueangels.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=68&p=8271#p8271

There is a very talented screenshot artist on our forums, goes by the handle 'reef', who creates edits such as these;

great shots everyone, remember Hermann Goering famously wanted a squadron of Spitfires they were that good, but the day he saw Mustangs escorting B-17's over Berlin he knew Germany had lost the war...

now where'd i put my Spit....:jump:

Love those formation shots Jankees!!

This thread made me get back into the pacific theatre and I decided to start work on a new FSX Munda since there isn't much available for the WWll pilots and liked the way this shot came out during testing (ran thru a PSD filter as well)

IanP
September 11th, 2009, 08:15
That's actually the freeware one, but I have Briefing Time flying in Accel as well as that one. I can't remember whether the RCS one is a port or not (BT - the MAAM-SIM one - definitely is right now)... I'm sure someone else can say for definite. It didn't have a VC either, but you really can't beat the price!!!
