I noticed a strange rain shower show up repeatedly at the same spot NE of San Antonio on the doppler weather radar. It always appeared as an expanding circular formation in the evening. I joked that it was the target area for a secret experimental weather satellite, but it turns out it is a colony of 20,000,000 (yes, 20 MILLION) bats emerging from their cave in the evening. Google bracken bat cave. You can see it on radar in the evenings. Just go to one of the weather sites with an animated radar loop and dial up the San Antonio area tonight, unless there are too many t-storms in the area.
