I have used this in the past, but have had problems with it locking up my system (your mileage may vary). Currently it is out of service (not working).

If you are interested in working with airfiles I suggest (1) JERRY BECKWITH'S WORKBOOK (AN EXCELL SPREADSHEET) (2) Jerry Beckwith's AIRWRENCH and (3) AirEd, an Airfile Editor by Ron Friemuth.

Sometimes the various programs can work at cross purposes!

Jerry (Sparks) would be most qualified to comment on the above, being the author of several important tools and a leader in the field.

Check out his site, www.mudpond.us (http://www.mudpond.us)

i allways start with it then use air wrench etc

Uh, slight misperception here. Ron Friemuth publishes an ini file for AirEd, as do I, but William M. Roth is the author of AirEd.

Here's an example of why I wouldn't recommend using FSEdit. This chart shows what FSEdit does with the lift curve:

Enough said?

I use FSedit for one purpose. Changing the aircraft type to 2 on AI conversions.

Can't be cluttering up me aircraft selection menu with a bunch of AI aircraft now can I?
