My vote would be the XP-67 "Moonbat"

Sweet looking WWII prototype.

That's good enough for me Tim! A Paris Jet perhaps, now that is unique - pure speculation on my end fellow simmers! :monkies:

Estrella Warbirds Museum in Paso Robles, CA has two that are not in the best of shape along with some Foguas for part for the restoration of another one. It would be nice to see their MS-760(s) looking better. It was kinda funny stumbling across all these french planes in California (wine country no less lol) as the restoration section is in the back of the museum. I cant wait Piglet!

i've said it before 'Stickman', it's always a sad sight to see classics like this in a scrapyard for spares, rather they were flying :kilroy: so in a way piglets Paris will be a great addition to the hangar :jump: great spot though pal!

If there is one saving grace, its that they are going to a better cause, a complete airframe. She might even be airworthy, although I didn't get a chance to talk to anyone working on the one under restoration. I wish I took a better picture of her.

i like the Magister/Zephyr, it has a certain charm to it, back to piglets MS760 heres a view that really shows her graceful curves...

Argentine one?? mmm for me, the Paris with an anchor on its roundels is the One (even if it doesn't have any hook):jump:

Simkid22: it's sad/strange to see a Fouga from the French acrobatic team in a scrapyard... Do you know if it will be restored?

Mister Piglet thank you for your choice!!:applause:

Sylvain

PS : Jankees, did you see, in Montélimar, my favorite plane (this one has a hook!!)... EtendardIVM?

There is a nice Fouga Magister/Zephyr out there. It's by Restauravia. http://restauravia.com/ I did a few repaints and have a couple more somewhere in the paint booth.

I was in Paso Robles twice a few months back and didn't get a chance to go to the museum. Darn!!

Tim- I look forward to your Paris. That'll be a welcome addition to the hanger. Thanks in advance!

Regarding the MS Paris, here is the web site of "Aéro Passion" a French association who fly a "Paris": http://www.aeropassion.fr/3.html

I'm sorry it's all in French, but you can find a nice video : clic on "Galerie" and then choose on the left "Le MS760 en meeting".

It is a cliche' I know to say this, but the beauty of flight translates to any language. Thanks for that link and what a nice performance by the MS760. I especially enjoyed the cockpit shot towards the end of the video. . .a perfectly laid out panel, easy to read. . .visually pleasing.

So Tim. . .are we there yet? lol, lol.

uglier? Than a Seastar? Dunno 'bout that. Homely, yes. It was designed for the Fleet Air Arm, and the FAA has a 'thing' for 'workman like' aeroplanes. Besides,Mesrs. RR Griffon , 6 bladed contra prop. Carrier capable, folding wings with variable incidence. Stall at 60KTS, top at 300 or so. Mmmmmmmmm.Yummy.

The performance sounds nice, but I, as a crewman wouldn't put up with an aicraft that can only be flown on moonless nights. :d

Maybe not a bad idea making aircraft not that appealing though.
Scares the enemy right away upon sight...

Yep, I've been flying the FS9 version for a long time now and it is just that, the GA version of the jetset. It'll be a very popular release I'm sure.
