:gameoff: I was driving back from my mums today and had to make a detour as the police had closed the roads, I later found out that and Edge 540 had crashed killing the female pilot, an unnamed American lady, aged 40 from California.
She had been practising for next weekends world aerobatic championships being held at the motor racing circuit at Silverstone (that is in Northamptonshire, UK).
Silverstone race circuit was built on the perimeter track of the WWII bomber training airfield and still has an active runway.
I send my sympathies to the family and friends of the pilot. :engel016:
The pilot's name has just been released: Vicki Cruse, 40, from Santa Paula, California RIP.
