I have tried to enter the location of the storm several times and when I get to the position it is nice and sunny. I am using default fsx's weather, going out to Jeppesen. Is there another service you connect too? Thanks

You should at least get much clouds.......get Active Sky if you really want to chase Hurricanes.

When I went over to tropical storm in pacific off Hawaii two weeks ago got all the clouds and strorm you could want, but not this one. Must be that this pc is for use only on the Pacific coast!

The Connie is Manfred Jahn's one of Frank's repaints. Think I found Bill now.

Your 2nd pic does indeed confirm Hurricane Bill. I can leading see edge cloud whip rotation. Excellent shot:icon29:

All I own to fly in Bill is this DC-3. Taxing on runway while Bill is visiting Bermuda. Smoke from tires blowing in front of plane. Took pictures at all levels using REX. Winds were 35 to 45 knots at the airport.

Default King Air 350 with weather radar installed. REX 2.0 with Google Earth to get the coordinates. Taking off from Bermuda with wind speed of 40 knots was really tricky. Found the eye of the storm.

last night i tried to see what the default fsx would do with it. i went there, with the real weather on, and i got avg winds, and scattered clouds.
it was a non-event

That is all I use if you look at post 11. The cloud texture are from ftx but the weather was generated using default fsx weather, no google earth or any thing else.
