Hello, SOH friends. :wiggle:

Check out the event that the FSMPA will be having next weekend:

http://forums.flightsim.com/vbfs/showthread.php?t=199575

As always, our events are open to one and all, so I hope you'll be able to make the time next Saturday to join us in one of the wackiest races ever staged. (Other than that one in Feburary, of course. :kilroy:)

See you there! :wavey:

I'll do the racing part, but only if I can use GTR2, my Logitech G25 steering wheel and the 2008 F1 mod I'm currently using. :d

Looks like a nice one too

For a moment I thought it was another FS9 racing scenery.

I only have one racing sim and that is Need for Speed Porche Unleashed. I really like it.

This little event looks like fun but fs9 is no replacement for a racing sim. The scenery is nice. I just installed it and the cars are nice on the outside VC is bareable but not great.

These F1 cars drive just awful in FS. And with crashes turned off, there's ample opportunity for widespread corner-cutting (even if you're not trying to...:d). It may become an oval track race! How will this be policed? :monkies:

Doggone free-for-all is more like it.

Might get some of the guys from SimAviators.co.uk to show up. That'll help,,they are the ones that use these track sceneries all the time. Maybe there's a trick to it.

Heck our crowd in Helos from EDDK over to the track ought to be quite an expositition by itself....:mixedsmi:.

Should make for some fun screenshots,,,,,,come on out if you get a chance.

There are a couple dips about the track that allow for some good air time! BTW, this "Flightteam" car is about 100 kts faster than the others...a ringer. Usually you just end up further off the track with it!

I am going to try and be there.

Will test Hamchi later today.

Jet of choice today is PADs Bombardier CRJ-200 Twin Turbofan Regional Airliner. It can be found here http://www.premaircraft.com/whatsnew/index.html both for fs9 and fsx.

For the short hop to the track I plan on flying Christen Eagle II search for Christen Eagle II at flightsim.com for the fs9 or fsx aircraft.

It should be interesting landing it. I don't count it as STOL.
