Thanks for posting some shots, Roger!

There are actually 9 different models, all just different enough to make coordinating everything a headache - but fun at the same time. :)

Right now the effort is getting the gauge work finished, as Roger mentioned, and making the models as fps-friendly as they can be, and then it will be the final small details and putting the last details into the textures. Then onto the Manual, checklist, etc..

Tom is extremely busy these days, and so sim planes are understandably not at the top of the list for him at present. I think the flight dynamics are complete at this point, in any case, so that's great, and I'm really just waiting to see if Tom has any photos of a couple of bits and pieces. Then we'll see if the whole thing passes inspection.... :mixedsmi:

Can I make a request? Can one model have an A/P? Sometimes O'd like to just sit back and let it go.

Sometimes it is useful to be able to set ap and go. I've been testing my system for lockups and as I make changes I need an aircraft that I can set and leave and I don't want to use the same aircraft every time. If an aircraft doesn't have ap then copying that section from a similar aircraft and pasting it in is useful. You enable the ap from Ctrl Z and Ctrl H (for altitude and bearing hold).

I think that's a useful bit of information for those that would like an AP. I have yet to find a Super Cub with an AP, so that would be the way to go, most likely. Thanks for that, Roger.

CBris ..... you wanna step out behind the hanger for a bit? I fly the Cubs probably more than anyone. As I said, I'd just like to be able to let it go sometimes. :icon_lol::icon_lol:
Roger ..... never knew that about the altitude. I did ... at one time set a Cub for an A/P in the config but I fly a lot of IFR and them ATC's are a goofy bunch. They can tell you got a flight plan but they have no respect for it. After about 15 minutes they want you to turn right to a heading of xxx° and that blows that plan all to hell.

Having done that particular thing many times while checking terrain mesh comptability (it appears not all meshes behave the same when trying to land aircraft on them, away from airports), I think you'll find that you'll be able to do that, and much more.

In fact, give yourself 15-20 kt of headwind, over a hilltop, and you can do this as well:
