I down loaded the He111 900 liters (271 gallons) drop tank by alain95,
the tanks show up as perpendicular to the wing instead of beying under the wing.:isadizzy:
How can I correct this?

You can't as far as I know. The pylon and drop tanks have nodes that are oriented (x,y,z) when the models are made. If these nodes point in a way that are not aligned with the model, then they appear in game aligned along another axis.

BTW, I think there are other tanks around. Someone may have the ground crew ones which should work....

could we not just replace/rename the texture files?

...my problem: I cannot find the original dds files for the tank textures
