Just a heads up.

Just recently released 1.3 upgrade for UTX Europe.

1.3 Release notes:

Scenery Solutions DL page:

I almost missed it and that's one of my sites I check daily.

thanks for that update notice, but i see from reviewing the information the patch actually reconfigures user systems to prepare for the patch and will not run the patch if we do not allow this.

I do not allow any outside software access to my system that does such reconfiguration without my control so i am glad i read the instructions. thanks again.

Fromy experience with the UTX patches is that the pre-patch process is still done by UTX. It's just resetting your user made UTX changes before it applies the actual patch.

I think this avoids the new patch adding UTX changes on top of UTX changes. It just resets everything to "zero" so that you get a clean install.

Yeah, there use to be the Prepare for Update menu choice in the Setup Utility. Took a few seconds to do, covered in the patch notes. Then the postings would appear about the patch not working and the question would always be "Did you run the Prepare option?"

After a few hundred of these, the developer set things up where the patch will not unlock until the preperation work is done beforehand.
