Hi there,
I've a short question. Is it possible to tweak/change the default viewing angle of the VC? Default looks like ...

I'd love to angle the view down a bit like that ...

... so I have the alt etc in sight without needing to pan the view down to see it. Can such a thing be done?
Thanks in advance.

Should be able to do it with the camera definitions in the cfg file
Have a look here ...

I was not able to find a cam definition for that view though. Me thinks, the default VC view is somehow configured differently.

Hi Oli. Yes the camera configs are a bit different, and I'm looking into it. I should have an aircraft.cfg patch available to try soon, and will roll it into an update if it goes well.
Thanks,
-Mike

Thanks, that's good to hear. In the meantime I could just add another view to the cockpit with the parameters I like. That would give me two forwards VC views but I could ignore the default and use the second one. Would that work?

Cheers Oli. Yes that should work fine in the short term. Then you can alter whatever I update the plane with to suit your fancy. I actually did have exactly that view that you're talking about in the plane, many months ago, but took it out as it was getting in my way for testing a bit hehe.

Thanks again for the help. I came up with a view that suits my need. I posted the "solution" in the big L-39 thread because there are already other views discussed there. Just wanna let you know because I don't like to open a threat and leave it there unsolved.
