To get the vapor effect you need the iris pro series F-14 installed then add the following line to your PANEL.cfg

[Vcockpit01]
Background_color=1,1,1
size_mm=512,512

visible=1
pixel_size=512,512
texture=$vc

;1 = left DDI
;2 = right DDI
;3 = center DDI

gauge00=F-14_Systems!HUD-V14, 36,36,440,440, (do not add this one for the vapor effect)
gauge01=F-14_Tomcat!Effect Controller, -6,1,20,20

Then put the F-14_Tomcat.cab in your F-14D panel folder

Than add the following under the lights section in your cfg change the xx to whatever number is next in line
light.xx= 6, -25, -4, 5, fx_iris_leftwingvapor,
light.xx= 6, -25, 4, 5, fx_iris_rightwingvapor,


Then go fly and enjoy

Great thanks for that just made my life a little easier, if you read the f14 page it was me that first put the iris hud in her, so thanks for adding the vapour effect!:ernae:

:medals: Nice work on the helmets, thanks, your thumbnail is a bit large at 1280 x 974 and 496 kb so I made my own at 256 x 128 (ratio 2:1) at 7 kb. :guinness::icon29:

Could you perhaps send me your Pilota_militare.dds file? For some reason the helmet does not appear changed in my sim.
