A beta version of my Bell 47 is now available @ fsnorthwest.net. Take her out for a spin and see how she flies.

Really super model Mike!:applause:

Personal preferences would be slightly lighter canopy and rotor textures (nothing I can't do myself) but although the sound files are great, overall they are quiet and could do with their levels upping.

I forsee quite a few repaints (especially if you do a float version too:jump:)

Oh yes-there will be a float version. I lighten the canopy glass as well.:wavey:

Hmmm... it isn't a G4.

I trained, worked and even got some "you have" hours on the Bell 47 G4 (British Army) so anything I pose as a critique here is merely questioning. I don't have the knowledge of other versions.

The tail rotor drive shaft bearing holders appear too "beefy"
We had metal "cup" cradles for the tanks that came up each side roughly half way
There was a radio "platform" on the rear boom just aft of the join
The seat cushions look too short - my feel is that they came up to shoulder height
The skid posts we had were longer
The Brit G4s were turbo-charged
There was a bolt on anti vibration weight on the tail rotor guard. Lead. 2 Screws. Sat on the top of the tube at the lowest point of the curve
The tubular steel bits look a tad too chunky and the landing gear cross tubes uneven lengths
The instrument panel appears "lacking" in instruments, switches and knobs

Like I say - no ill intent meant, it's just me being used to another version. Actually I like the looks and this could go a long way.

A couple of links where you can see what I mean:

Well I like it, to my archaic mind, it is what a helicopter should look like lol.
What is the interesting real estate you are flying over in the second and third pics, looks an interesting airfield.
