how to donate for the new corsair

Hi,
I've downloaded the corsair for cfs3. I'm not so sure about giving my visa card number through paypal. It is said that cheques must be in "GBP only" : what does that mean?

I tried to mail Ickie but the mail bounced, don't know why, could be me and a spelling mistake, but I thought I would ask here as I may not be the only one to ask myself this question.

Ickie, this is that sentence that I don't understand (especially the underlined part) :
"For Our European Users: NOTE: USD/Euros in cash cheques in GBP only "

The donationware site link appears to be down this afternoon (???)...worked OK for me yesterday and earlier today....keeps timing out when clicked. Is this a server thing or my machine?
