We all get junk mail...
A lot of it is filtered by the ISP, and your email programme.
Still, some get through, and I've always wondered when I'll get some that is meaningfully targeted.
Today it happened!
I got an email from simMarket, introducing some new products.
Something felt wrong!
There were only 4 items listed.
All of them looked Very Interesting!
Then I realised I had been profiled and targeted...each product was for FS9 only, and stuff I would very likely buy.
As an FS9 luddite, I was delighted and bought Aerosoft's Innsbruck, straight away.
I wonder how one can spread their database around...to the folks who peddle Viagra, lubricants and blow-up dolls: no custom likely here!
