Tonight I pulled the Flylogic F-5E Tiger II out of the hanger and made sure the oxygen and fluids were topped off. I filled the tanks with JP-4 (or whatever number they use these days) and took her out on a date.

It was like old times. She is such a class act. She has looks, style, and grace. She may not stack up side by side to those younger gals but, let me tell you, give her a chance and she will make you forget those others.

Tonight I felt like I was back in the cockpit again. The feel the sounds were all there. I became one with the old gal. She responded to my touch like she read my mind. together we were in the zone.

Jim, we would have to take out her little sister, T-38. A great gal in her own right.

Miss T-38 has taken many a young man out and made him into a pilot. She is a bit more tempermental than her bigger sister, F-5E. You have to watch her in the final.

Very Nice aircraft indeed

I've never been able to get the radar in the VC to work like on the 2D panel

Did anyone ever fix that

that fix would really complete this package

I got the aerobatic team version, but should have just gotten the TigerX instead. Now all I have is the Patrouille Suisse paint job.

Afaik your model has the same texture mapping as the freeware DSB F-5.......so their should be loads of liveries available. :)

I was just doing a little research on F-100's in Southeast Asia and came accross this morsel of info...602nd FS F-5B's at Bien Hoa in 1966.
