Sorry its dark but can you see the boxes in the ocean i'm using hifi x graphics with fswc water config, and I've tried REX, Zirtek and FEX, well just they all have there highlights but I don't use them all together obviously and they all look the same??? Any help much appreciated as to why my ocean looks like this, as you guys don't seem to have this problem its an xp system by the way!

At the risk of repeating myself Peter, looks like a new Ocean height bit map found it's way into your Texture folder. Find the default and replace the offending item.

easy on the GD son....

I think Roger is hoping that you have a copy of your original 'textures' folder somewhere on your hard drive.. the idea being that it is rather difficult to find the one little file that has gotten lost or corrupted - so - you would then over write your entire existing and now compromised 'texture' folder - with the original that you (hopefully) saved...

The folder he's talking about is Texture, off of your main FSX directory (mine is E:/Games/FSX/Texture), and the file he's talking about is OceanHeightField.bmp, or one of the OceanHeight20Field*.dds textures. I've got 9 of them, ranging from 293KB to 5462KB, but I don't think mine are default either, so uploading them won't help, if you haven't backed up up your originals. You may be able to run the Repair option from your FSX disks. Although that will wipe out any other changes you've made as well - alternate textures, etc. Perhaps REX, FEX, or FSWC has made a backup of the originals when they were installed?
