These updates simply remove the decal from the nose sections to eliminate the transparency issues in FSX. These updates do not address props or other FSX SP2 issues. These four models are updates to the originally released models in the library.

Mr. Shupe.
Cant tell you how glad i am to see all my favorite aircraft being cared for and upgraded by you. No one has your magic, and no one could ever take your place. glad you didnt disappear. If it wasnt for you, i wouldnt be doing flight sim, and i certainly wouldnt be doing what i'm doing now.
Thank you.
Pam.

Well, thank you Pam. That is a very nice compliment and I do appreciate it. We would not have invested the years at this hobby ourselves had it not been for genuine appreciation shown for our work. Thank you.

In this day and age it is almost beyond belief to see people interested in anything but making a profit. To receive such jewels as A26 or the Spartan as a gift makes me think I have been taken back in time to a mythic past.
Thank you Milton

Thank you Brasoveanu.
It was a lot of fun and a lot of work but certainly an SOH team effort in every respect. My effort was but a small part. There were many players and participants doing research and development. Were it not for that, the end product would have certainly been different.
After completion of the initial project, RealOldSalt created a variant, and Bomber_12th proceeded to deliver several variants of his own to include the K model.
The repaints were top notch and kept the enthusiasm going for a long time. This was an exciting time here at SOH and we truly benefitted from all the involvement and contributions made by so many.

Hi Milton...
Question for you?
I have installed the original SOH A-26, the A/B-26 Counter Invader, and the On-Mark A-26 conversion in FSX with SP2/acceleration.
When flying in the VC of the original SOH A-26B the transparency of the side windows is the same as the forward windscreen. But, with the Counter Invader and the On-Mark models the transparency of the side windows is much less than the SOH A-26B whereas the forward windscreen transparency is the same for all 3 models.
Is there any way to increase transparency in the Invader and the On-Mark side windows to improve the virtual pilot's view to the sides?
Thanks
Roy Marsh

Check the glass_t texture color values, primary and alpha channel both. You can try copying the one from the look that you prefer to the other.
Here, they are both the same for me. I am unsure if Bomber_12th changed the window opacity values on the glass of the B26K however. I have only FS9 so cannot compare on the FSX side.

Outstanding advice!:medals:
I am a total novice but opened these files with DXTBmp.exe. Even though the files were the same size one was black, the other dark grey. So I moved the "good" file to the affected airplane texture file and Wallah!!...excellent transparent glass.
Thank you sir
