Seems like they are having a 25% off sale for this weekend.

I've always wanted that P-40 there......

P-40 :d It is a newer plane and the B-17 is not native FSX. I am sure they will probably revisit it one day.

Ooh, that makes the P-40 mighty impressive - now at 45$ even more. What a temptation.

In celebration of our own Captain Jakey's 9th birthday, A2A Simulations is having it's first ever store-wide sale (https://www.a2asimulations.com/store/). Captain Jakey can be seen in several A2A Simulations onsite research videos. He is a professional helper to us and has sat in over twenty cockpits, taken the controls of a Piper Cub, and flown in a real B17 Flying Fortress. This is a special day to all of us as we honor the future of aviation. We support this generation to carry our aviation torch into the future with passion. This sale is a world-wide sale covering all time zones, so if it is Friday or Saturday (June 20th and 21st) where you live, the sale will be active

You guys are cruel :d, I shouldnīt spend money for FS these days....Corsair sounds good, but I guess it is pretty simple in systems management? Like startup procedure, temperatures etc? Not like the 377 without accusim?

Oh man.. Tempting!!!

From all Marguirited has said about the P-47, it sounds like one awesome plane to fly.

It's pointless to resist. I've been drooling all over that P-47 since I saw those videos on youtube. This discount is all that it takes to finally make me snap. It'll probably make me fail my exam on monday though. Damn you A2A! Couldn't you have waited until after my exams?

Can anyone tell me how the P-47 is on frames? If it is like the B377, I couldnīt use it as a fighter, if itīs like the AS Catalina, it could work, AS H-1 like, would be great, than Iīd buy it most likely. Will check back later, if the sale isnīt over by then...

Another thing: How is the P-40 system wise, does it have realistic systems, like the 377 without accusim, or is it more simple?

Thanks in advance...

I've got 44 fps inside H-1, 42 inside P-47 and 38 fps inside Catalina. (sitting on ground, engine on)

The P-40 has the standard FSX system and a large number of working controls/buttons/levers (but not every button is active). There are plans to bring out an add-on Accu-Sim pack for the P-40 but it is fairly low down on the priority list at the moment as A2A have to get the B-17 and P-51 A-S packs done first.

I snapped yesterday and bought the Razorback with accusim. All I can say is: wow. I never was one for the military airplanes, but if more of them were modeled in this level of detail (both visually and systems-wise), I could definately learn to love them! 35 EUR is really no money for this package!

The VC eats about 5fps, but loads quickly and without any hickups. External model doesn't seem to impact my fps much (although it's very, very detailed).
