Windows 2000/XP (Modified ForceWare drivers)

This is the Xtreme G driver which includes many performance and Image Quality tweaks.
These are modified NVIDIA ForceWare drivers for Windows 2000 & XP. Modified drivers simply means that the author takes official or beta drivers from the manufacturer and starts to tweak them for either better image quality and or performance. Please bare in mind that the driver manufacturer, in this case NVIDIA, does not support drivers like these.

You use them at your own risk. For more information and dialog about these drivers I suggest you visit our forums where a dedicated section can be found on modified drivers.

HD means High Detail version.

Considering the original 80.40 driver without a doubt is a bigtime BETA driver, you should re-consider if you want to install these.

Hey Eagle, I decided to download these this morning and do some playing. I like them. I noticed I can read the lettering in the planes better and also my trees are more clear. I also overloaded all adjustments to the max and on a heavy clouds day I was around 29 to 35. At first I though there was a bug in the drivers but I set the drivers at 16 pipes and maxed the othe at 8. A few shots below. Take notice of the lines in the fields and the darker clouds textures and the writing at the bottom of the wheel. If ya try them tell me what ya think..Mike

Yea I know what ya mean. I did notice that there still is a bug in the play back mode of MS in it's windows media player:confused: which is no big deal there is already a fix for that. But when it comes to the texture detail I am pretty much pleased. There also is no frame rate hit either. You are right about the picture size but I think we get the point..lol...your shots still looked damn sweet...by the way how is that card working out for ya?..any problems ...Mike

Using the new 80.40's ....My graphics are very sharp and clear. FPS are nearly the same as the 77.72 although they appear to be 1 or 2 FPS faster. The clearer graphics are impressive. No problems so far.
