Well, I purchased an Arctic Cooler and in the process of trying to install it, I think I damaged my motherboard.
Whenever I hit the power button the blue LEDs light briefly, the fans start to turn then she shuts down.
In looking closely at the board I think I detect a crack from one of the heatsink mounting holes that extends into the tracing.
I am looking for a reliable moderately priced MOB that I can overclock to about 3-3.5 GHz. I am currently using aGigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R 775 R with an
Intel Quad Core Q9550.
Any suggestions?
