Anybody following this..?

Only seven hours underway, but so far we've seen two Peugeots colliding in the pits, one Peugeot with a turbo ripped from its side after a pucture following the pit crash, the 'All-French' 908 having gearbox problems and the #2 Audi R15 crashing very hard out of the race. The Gulf Aston Martins seem to slow to keep up with the diesels, but because two of their cars have stayed out of the problems they are currently in fourth and fifth. Peugeot is leading, with an R15TDi less than a minute behind and in third is another 908 which is one lap down.
The weather is good at the moment but rain is expected tomorrow afternoon...

Yeah I've been watching it for a while here. Sun is coming up now, the #9 Peugeot has a lap on the #8, with the #1 Audi 2 laps behind.:mixedsmi:

A well deserved win for Peugeot! For the first time in nine years that Audi doesn't win (As the winning '03 Bentley was an Audi with a roof). If Audi can iron out some reliability issues the R15 will be fighting for the win next year again.

A good job by Peugeot, but expect Audi to come back strong next year

Also well done to the Lola Aston team

First time since 1984 that we've had a full length live coverage of LM in Aus!
Watched it from start to finish, with a couple of essential breaks and a gap from the originating network that was filled with British GT3 round from Silverstone last month.
They must be the dumbest 'GT' cars around .......... :173go1:
Good result for the Pugs, and we shouldn't overlook the fact that the Audis have only raced once this season.
:applause:
Still prefer LMP2 and GT2 cars meself, the GT1 'field' was a joke.
Very impressed by the Radical and the Oreca, nice change for the FIAT runners to get one over Porsche in the GT2s as well.

All rather interesting, even if the following coverage of the MotoGP was far more entertaining ........ Stoner, Rossi and Lorenzo all on 106 points for the title!!!
