Man.. That is too cool!
Looks tougher then a Hummer, more elegant then some motorhomes.. I like the Euro look..

He'd hope someone doesn't come along and dump a heap of crud in the top hatch.

Dang that is cool. When I was in Elementary School they brought a cleaned up garbage truck so that we could look at it. At first we thought it was going to be pretty gross, but I was amazed at how much room it had in it, and it was really clean. I wanted to stay and play inside of it lol, still wasn’t as cool as the fire truck they brought and displayed the water gun. Wish I had one of these.

It looks great, but I don't think it was ever a garbage truck. It appears to be the same kind of vehicle used in the Paris-Dakar rallye races, or something similar, but really nicely fitted out.

Yeah Mike,
Per Cratermaker, it's actually this very similar vehicle --> http://web.archive.org/web/20060430150757/http://www.unicat.net/en/info/GEX63HD-MANTGA6x6.html :mixedsmi:

I always wondered why Land Rover didnt go in this direction. Something like this for the M101 chassis would have been awesome... Something taller then a Hummer, forward cab, all terrain... It would be too cool..
arrghh..
EDIT: Here are some ancient 101's from Land Rover. Imagine if it were cleaned up and made more modern, like Hummer.
