After reading NickN's guide, I am starting to learn about latency and timing of RAM (yes, I am that low-tech!)

For the MSI 790FX GD70 board's four 1333 dual channels with the AMD 955 CPU, which would work better?

- 3x2GB 9-9-9-24 1600MHz 1.65v
- 3x2GB 9-9-9-24 1333MHz 1.5v
- 2x2GB 7-7-7-21 1600MHz 1.65v

Is it just the lowest latencies? Would there be any discernable difference?

Are the modules in a kit matched? If I get two 3x2GB kits, can I split them up into three pairs of modules and install them into 3 PCs?

I would say the 2x2GB 7-7-7-21 1600MHz 1.65v is better for FSX due to its lower timings

Yes..They are completely matched..... And can be split like that giving each rig a 2X2 set
