NetWings has a new online server IP 65.118.243.230 :D

Yes, it works fine !

Like this forum now, it has a lot more processing power, so let's hope it's more stable than the old server.

had also already a blast this morn' very early - missed Paul Straney for a few seconds / minutes?, met Moses, Sean Doran and his buddy (he, he, those Talons were easy 'targets' over Greenland for 'my' Phantom II - but took no 'gun' pic as 'proof' :)) then finally Pil and Butcherbird17 were already waiting @ Keflavik (BIKF) where I could make it to safety after coming over from Narsarsuaq (BGBW) (hmmm... that's obviously Mr. Straney's 'secret', private testing ground 'Area 51' :D )

It was good to see a number of flyers on there last night. It seemed to be performing OK as far as I could tell anyway. The IP address trick for the Web page will work for a bit but it might not always. I will be instigating DNS changes sometime next week at which point the original http://www.netwings.org:8080 will point to it and entering netwings.org in FS2004 will get you to the right server. There is a "hack" for the web pages that I am hoping to implement that shows a world map indicating where anyone online is.

w00t! It was good seeing you online, Neil! Even if you were the spooky, creepy FSHost server talking... :D
